2 Introduction to Archaeology
- You have likely heard the word “archaeology” before, but do you know what archaeologists study, or what archaeology really is?
- Think of all the ways archaeology is presented to the public, such as TV shows or museums, what are they? List them in the table below in the first column, “Types of Media or Location” then think carefully about the pros and cons for each one and list these in the second and third columns in the table. For example, TV shows can be viewed by a large audience but they may not always be the most accurate portrayal of real science.
