Cloning Books

• The ability to clone a book in Pressbooks provides users the opportunity to take an openly licensed book and import it into your catalog.
• A good way to find books to clone is to search “open textbooks in Pressbooks” on Google
• To clone a book it must have uta.pressbooks.pub in the URL

Pathway for Cloning a Book:

• Go to My Catalog > Clone a Book
• Enter the URL from the source book that you plan to clone
• Enter a new URL (of your choice) for the book
• Enter a title for the book
