Pressbooks supports the following import file types

• EPUB (.epub)
• Microsoft Word (.docx)
• Open Office (.odt)
• Pressbooks/Word Press XML (.wxr or .xml)
• Webpage or Pressbooks Webbook (.html or URL)

Begin importing content by

• Selecting “Tools” in the left menu panel
• In the drop down menu, select “Import”
• Select your “Import Type”
• Then browse for the file you would like to import or cut and paste the URL
